The one-liner is that Futurology is all about
Answering What’s The Future by exploring how digital is changing the world around us, right now.
Every week we broadcast from CliffCentral between 12-1 pm and look at the Future from many different angles. This is why we will talk about topics like Blockchain, AI, Health, Economics (We make it fun!), Agile and Exponential, Connectivity and a whole bunch more.
We believe that people want answers, insight and ideas that they can take away from the show and implement. This is why we love to talk to people who are doing this stuff and can share real lessons.
To keep it real we don’t take ourselves to seriously and don’t follow any rules on decorum.
While we work hard to make sure we deliver the best quality content we don’t over-structure the content. We are happy to go with the flow within the topic and follow our guest’s passions and insights around a point.
Gareth Cliff pioneered the idea of Un-Radio and having just turned 3 years old, CliffCentral has proven the value of podcasting and the future of radio. We love being part of this disruptive sort up and to collaboration on producing the best possible show. You can listen in via the CliffCentral App
The Show Hosts
Michael Cowen likes to look at things differently. He’s the resident renegade who always believes there is a better way – probably thanks to pushing the digital boundaries at places like Deloitte Digital! Today he spends his time using digital technologies to solve real human problems and spends way too much time pondering about the Future of Work.
Brett St Clair, who likes to think of himself as a Digital Disruptor. So much so that he left Google to go and Googlify ABSA as Principal of Digital product Management. He is in love with being part of Africa greatness and accelerating growth by developing exponential businesses.
Brett Lindsay, who does philosophise about the future of digital and believes that the only way to be is Big about Brave. That’s why he called his business Big Brave (sorry that BIGBrave™). And being brave is all about finding technology solutions to solve unique problems. This is bleeding edge stuff!
